Menu Management

There are three set of Menus which are being used in the Developer Portal site namely:

1. Main Navigation
2. Footer
3. User Menu

The menus mentioned above are already pre-configured once you run the Developer Portal installation package. However, not all menus listed are needed, nor there are other menus that must be added into its list. In order to do so, here are the guidelines.

• In the Admin Toolbar, put your cursor on Structure menu link > Menus (Please take note that you will already see the list of menus configured on the Developer Portal site, but we just need to focus on the three (3) menus mentioned above. Also, since it was listed, there were options to directly go to the said menu set to either add, edit, delete or update already menu listed.)
  
  
• Here is the Menu Dashboard wherein you will see all listed Menus configured.
  
  
• On the Right side of each Menu, there are two (2) actions available: Edit Menu link and Add Link. 
  • Edit Menu link - once click, user or site admin will be redirected to Menu List.
    
    
    
    On the page, site admin or user will be able to change the title of the Menu, its Summary. The user will also have the capability to edit the existing Menu, delete, or disable it. 
    • To edit the Menu, on the right side of each menu listed, there are operations available. Click on Edit link.
    • To disable the Menu, beside the operations (on the left) there is a checkbox available. Un-check the said box to disable the menu and vice versa to enable it.
    • To delete the Menu, on the operations, there is a dropdown button available. Click on the dropdown button and click on Delete link.
  • Adding New Menu
    • In some Admin Theme (example Seven or Adminimal Theme), the Add link button is available on top of the Menu list.
      
      
      
      But in some theme, like in Claro Admin Theme, you will be able to Add New Menu is available by clicking the dropdown menu under Operations in the Menu Dashboard.
